Duqm, on the Arabian Sea coast of Al Wusta, is Oman’s boldest economic project. The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) — described by official sources as the largest of its kind in the region — combines a deep-sea port, the Oman Drydock ship-repair yard, a greenfield refinery and industrial, logistics, fishing and township zones rising on a once-remote coastline.
A build-out at that scale runs on staggering volumes of physical assets: construction materials and laydown inventory, plant, tools and spares across the drydock and industrial sites, containers and cargo through the port, chilled stock through the fishing harbour, and FF&E across worker accommodation and the new township. Manual methods cannot keep pace.
We deploy UHF RFID against exactly that — bulk-reading hundreds of tags per second with no line of sight — designing, deploying and integrating the system as one GCC team from our Abu Dhabi base. We work at client-owned facilities within the zone, not the national infrastructure itself.
